The practice considers aggressive behaviour to be any personal, abusive or aggressive comments, cursing or swearing, physical contact or aggressive gestures.
The practice will request the removal from the practice list of any patient who is aggressive or abusive towards any member of staff or another patient.
All instances of actual physical abuse by a patient will be reported to the police.
