You will need to be seen by a Practice nurse 2 weeks before your appointment.
Being diagnosed with a life changing illness can be completely bewildering, isolating and debilitating. Did you know that Magna Vitae, in conjunction with Louth & District Hospice run FREE fortnightly social get togethers to support people in these situations, improve their quality of life and get to meet new people in similar circumstances?
We would like to invite you to attend these get togethers, which are held at the Marisco Medical Practice, in Stanley Avenue, Mablethorpe – the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of every month, 10.00 – 11.30am.
Activities we currently offer include: gentle exercise, dance, crafts, singing sessions, as well as the chance to just connect with other people.
Please don’t lose out on this fantastic opportunity.
A quick call or e-mail to Tracey Wilkinson or her team is all you need to do to get started:

We have a Bronze Award from Armed Forces Recognition Scheme
We are pleased to announce that Marisco has received the Bronze Award from the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).
Marisco signed the Armed Forces Covenant in 2015 pledging to endeavour in all business proceedings to uphold the key principles of the covenant and support the Armed Forces community. The covenant acts as a recognition of the sacrifices made by the Armed Forces and in return pledges respect, support, and fair treatment. Since signing the covenant, Marisco has just been awarded the Bronze Award from the Armed Forces Employer Recognition Scheme.
Flu is a common infectious viral illness spread by coughs and sneezes. You can catch flu – short for influenza – all year round, but it's especially common in winter, which is why it's also known as "seasonal flu".
It's not the same as the common cold. Flu usually starts more suddenly, is more severe and lasts longer. For more information please visit Seasonal Flu on our Help and Information page.
Sit and Wait Clinics
To see a doctor or nurse please telephone us or come into the surgery to book an appointment. If your condition is a new illness (less than 3 weeks) or you are having an acute episode of a pre-existing condition, feel free to pop down to our "sit & wait" clinics held Monday through to Friday mornings at our Mablethorpe branch. Patients are seen in order of arrival however should an emergency arise they will take priority.

Marisco Medical Practice supports this covenant and endeavours in all our business proceedings to uphold the key principles of the Armed Forces Covenant. See waiting rooms for more information on what we are doing to demonstrate our commitment.
